The value of real connections

What we believe is that real connections are now worth more than ever before. The small things in life, the most precious of moments as when you see your child being born, or the kind gesture of the wet snoot of your dog in your face when you were crying your eyeballs out over a break-up. When your online friend stayed up with you for countless of nights when you didn’t feel it anymore or that teacher that stuck out his neck for you to make sure you’re gonna be alright.

Those are the tiniest of treasures but yet of incomparable value.

Let that person that mattered to you know it, hold the little moments of kindness close to your heart.

We are Sow-It, a small little tiny company with a big quest at hand.

Smart as you are, I am sure you have came to the same conclusion as we did. The world isn’t exactly what it was anymore, and definitely not exactly how we would like it to be.

Likes, viewers, followers, subscribers, power, fame… Just a handful of the things that make a person feel valued nowadays…. or does it?

We don’t believe that.
Everything is so incredibly focused on being social without actually being social at all.
One feels often frowned upon when not buying the most expensive or largest gift. Throw the biggest parties or shows off their newest possessions and craziest holidays on social media.

Mother’s Wisdom

This wisdom I received from my mother as we were joking around about the silly things we did together when I was young, memories still as fresh as if it were yesterday. The little piece of wood she inscribed for me when I got divorced and moved out of the country is still hanging close to me, reminding me every day that she tells me I am stronger than I know.

The conversation continued about the values of things and moments in life, and it was then when she asked me, “Can you please tell me what I gave you for your birthday in any of your past years?” For most of my birthdays, I couldn’t... only the ones with a story lingered on in my memory. It was then that I realized what holds the greatest value in life. It’s not the things one buys, it’s the thought and the memory behind it.

What you give reflects back to you. If you carefully nurture true connections and cherish the bond you create, you will end up in someone’s heart with priceless memories that cannot be bought by all the money in the world. The true treasure of life cannot be bought. If you want to pluck the fruits of priceless connections in life, you’ll first have to Sow-It.
